What is Salto?

Several of our buildings have SALTO locks, which provide a flexible access control management system and allow you to enter without the need for a physical key and a traditional lock. 

If your building uses this technology, we will provide you with a round fob that replaces regular keys. This is what the Fob looks like:

If you ever lose your fob, it’s very important that you contact us as soon as possible through your Member’s Portal or Habyt App. This way, we will be able to create a new one for you. . 

How do the locks work?

The lock may have a long black area to read your round fob/key. After placing the fob in front, there is a green light and a beep so you can open the door with the bar handle.

Another possibility is a round lock. In this case, you need to touch the round area with your fob facing it fully. After the green light and beep, you can use that lock as a handle and turn it several times until you hear it unlock, and you’re good to go!
