In order to terminate your contract you need to first check 3 important aspects:
- Your minimum stay
- The termination notice period
- The permitted end-of-contract dates
These can be found in your Rental Agreement, which we sent to your email during your contract signature process.
You can easily terminate your rental contract yourself by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the Profile page in your Member Portal
- Click on Contracts in the navigation bar
- Click the Terminate contract button and a pop-up window will open
- Select the termination date and click Next
- Select the move out date and click Next
- Select your termination reason in the drop down menu and click Next
- Provide the bank details for the refund deposit and click Next
- Make sure to double check all the information you have provided, confirm if you agree to the terms of service and click Submit
A member of our team will then review all the details and get back to you via ticket to confirm the termination request.
If you encounter any issues during the above steps, please create a Help Request through our Member's Portal or your Habyt App.
Important Information for Tenants Booking through Third-Party Platforms
If you booked your accommodation through platforms like Spotahome or HousingAnywhere, please note:
- The move-out date you selected during booking is not a confirmed termination date
- Your contract with us is indefinite and will not automatically end on that date
- To officially terminate your contract, you must follow our termination process as described above
