Yes, it’s very important that you tidy up your common spaces as well as your room before moving out.
Give your room a tidy-up and proper clean, and remove your personal belongings from all common areas. This includes trash, toiletries in the bathroom, or food in the kitchen (make sure to check the fridge, drawers, and pantries).
Failing to do so, and leaving the space in very bad conditions, can lead to fines that would be deducted from your deposit as stated in your Rental Agreement.
