What Do I Do If the Apartment Has No Hot Water?

Step 1: Check Your Water Heater

• The first step in addressing a lack of hot water is to check your water heater. 
• If you have an electric water heater, make sure it's plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. 
• If you have a gas water heater, make sure the pilot light is lit. 

Step 2: Check Your Water Supply

• If your water heater is functioning properly, the issue may be related to your water supply. 
• Check all of your faucets to see if you have any cold water. 

Step 3: Check for Repairs

• If your water heater and water supply are functioning properly, it's possible that your hot water supply may be shut off due to repairs or maintenance work. 

Step 4: Wait it Out

• If there are no known repairs or issues with your water heater or water supply, it's possible that your hot water simply needs time to heat up. This can happen if multiple people are using hot water at the same time or if the water heater is working to fill up an empty tank. Wait a few minutes and then try turning on your hot water again.
